About Me
Web development provides me with an outlet for artistic and pragmatic creativity🎨🧠
I've always had an obsession with tinkering while growing up, be it applying hacky inline CSS to my MySpace profile, overclocking my computer, or customizing the theme and layout on every device I've ever owned.
My interests in Japanese media/culture, graffiti art, music, clothing, and video games led me to getting my B.A. in Studio Art from the University of California Irvine.
During my time there, I constantly juggled multiple creative projects and specialized in photography, drawing, and video production, while working extensively with software such as Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.
While working briefly in graphic design, I continued to train my eye in recognizing aesthetic qualities and learned how to effectively communicate and collaborate with a client, in order to guarantee a smooth creative process and client satisfaction.
I quickly realized that I yearned for a career in which I could solve problems not only creatively, but logically as well.
I stumbled upon an Intro HTML & CSS course and fell in love with the programming art form and the freedom, power, and possibilities that a simple laptop and internet connection could provide. I enrolled in, and completed a 14-week, full immersion coding bootcamp, and the rest is history.
